Dr. Jahr and his team from the Anatomy and Cell Biology and the Priddy lab from Mississippi State University will merge their expertise from distinct research fields to develop together innovative nano-hydroxyapatite coatings. These coatings aim to better control the degradation kinetics of 3D-printed absorbable metallic implants. The unique Collaborative Exchange Grant by the Orthopaedic Research Society will foster a mutually beneficial interchange of knowledge and methodologies between two leading research groups to advance the global development of cutting-edge orthopedic implant technologies.
