Yusuke Kubo is winner of the 2017/18 ICORS Travel Grant by EORS

Yusuke Kubo (MD) from the Department of Orthopedic Surgery of the Graduate School of Medical Sciences at Kyushu University in Fukuoka (Japan) is the winner of the 2017/18 ICORS Travel Grant by EORS and received his Certificate from EORS’ Vice President Dr. Holger Jahr.

This unique annual grant is sponsored by the European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) to support the ambition of the International Combined Orthopaedic Research Societies (ICORS) to stimulate international exchange in Orthopedic research. The grant aims at fostering international scientific and cultural exchange between research groups outside Europe and European Institutes as hosts. The grant was sponsored with € 2,000 by EORS, which Dr. Kubo spent to visit the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology (Director: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Thomas Pufe) of the University Hospital of the RWTH Aachen University. Thanks to this unique opportunity, Doctor Kubo decided to continue his research in Germany, now. He recently started his PhD-project at the same Department. We wish him all the best for his future!
