Ammar Hawashin successfully finished his MD thesis with highest honors

On March 31^st 2025 our MD student Ammar Hawashin successfully passed the oral examination at the end of his thesis. His doctoral thesis is entitled „Modulation of Acid-Sensing Ion Channels by Tannic Acid and Green Tea via a Membrane-Mediated Mechanism” and was awarded summa cum laude. The results of his studies have already been published in 2023 in ACS Chemical Neuroscience. Soon he will take up a new position as a physician in a cardiological clinic. We sincerely congratulate him on the successful doctoral dissertation!
