SmartHealthUnit

The SmartHealthUnit of the AcuteCare InnovationHub is separate “showroom” with a total surface of 30m² and makes modern medical technology perceptible. Here, different demonstrators are available, showing the inter-operability of different medical devices to exhibit new ways in medicine 4.0.

Consisting of an electrical patient bed with an appropriate technically equipped “dummy” patient the SmartHealthUnit offers a good opportunity for sponsors to integrate and present their devices. Within a short amount of time, the scenario can be adapted to one in an intensive care unit, or in home care (care home) or to the technical equipment of other subunits in acute care (recovery room, normal ward). An own event area is provided and serves as a “brainlab” for interdisciplinary and interprofessional workshops.

The SmartHealthUnit is furthermore used for regular teachings within the qualification profile of “innovative medical technology in anaesthesiology” for medical students. The SmartHealthUnit can of course be visited after prior consultation.
