The European Rare Disease Research Coordination and Support Action (ERICA) project will officially start its work on March 1st 2021. The aim of the ERICA consortium consisting of 29 partners, in which all 24 European Reference Networks (ERNs) take part, is to build on the strength of the individual ERNs and create a platform that integrates all ERNs research and innovation capacity.
Prof. Hilgers and his team will lead Work Package 4 regarding Clinical Trial Support. The ERICA Project is coordinated by Alberto Pereira Arias (Endo-ERN coordinator, Leiden University Medical Center, NL). It will run from 1 March 2021 – 1 March 2025.
