Prof. Dr.-Ing. Janina Fels

Janina Fels is full professor and head of the Institute for Hearing Technology and Acoustics (IHTA) at RWTH Aachen University since 2020. From 2012 until 2020 she has been Professor for Medical Acoustics at RWTH Aachen University. She studied Electrical Engineering and received her doctorate at the Institute of Technical Acoustics, RWTH Aachen University in 2008. She did a post-doc. in 2009 at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and at Widex A/S, Denmark.  From 2012 until 2015 she was Guest Researcher at at the Forschungszentrum Jülich.  Since March 2020, she was elected as a Review Board Member for the subject Acoustics (Review Board Mechanics and Structural Mechanical Engineering) in the DFG (German Research Foundation).
