Xiaoying Chen, doctoral Student at the Institute of Pathology, has been selected to participate in Roche Continents 2025. Xiaoying Chen has been working on her doctoral thesis on human ex vivo skeletal muscle models since October 2022, which she has summarized as first author in three publications with a total impact factor of 13.4.
Roche Continents is an annual call for proposals from F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., aimed at students aged 20 to 29 from European educational institutions. This year, 40 students were selected. They will have the opportunity to spend a week in Arles, France, networking with renowned scientists and artists and learning about the creative processes in art and science.
