Teachings
The professorship Dental Materials and Biomaterials Research contributes in a multifaceted way in teaching. The lectures, exercises and practical courses are offerend in several faculties for a multitude of students due to the the interdisciplinary subject matter.
The lecture Dental Materials Science is given for the students of Dental Medicine. Within the study program Modellstudiengang Medizin the professorship is the responsible coordinator of the 'Qualifikationsprofil Biowerkstoffe' with a multitude of different offered courses. Furthermore, a lecture 'Advanced Biomaterials' is given for the students of the program Biomedical Engineering. In addition lectures and practicals within the subject 'Biomaterials' are given for the students of Werkstoffingenieurwesen, Materialwissenschaften and Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen - focused on engineering aspects. Finally interdisciplinary practical courses and exercises are offered on selected biomaterials topics.
