Internship for students and re-entrants
We offer work placements specifically for students who are interested in training as dental assistants. Here you can get a very personal impression of the training content, the requirements, the processes and also the working atmosphere in the department. You will also have the opportunity to talk to your possible future colleagues in the treatment room in peace and quiet and ask any questions that are important for your decision-making process.
You can also gain your own initial experience by trying out various activities for yourself. However, there is always enough time for an intensive exchange with our trainees, who still remember their own career orientation phase well and are happy to share their experiences with you.
In principle, such an internship is possible at the Clinic for Operative Dentistry, Periodontology and Preventive Dentistry at the Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, but there are a few requirements for the allocation of internships in our department:
- Application with curriculum vitae in tabular form and photo
- You will need a valid hepatitis B vaccination (written proof required)
- Documents from the school with details of the date and length of the internship (as insurance cover).
For new entrants: Copies of the last certificates, proof of x-ray if necessary
