Supplementary Career Information
Since October 17th 2022, I’m the interim Director of the Institute of Imaging and Computer Vision
at RWTH Aachen University, a post previously held by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Merhof (W3). My current
appointment as a Junior Professor (W1) is a fixed-term contract until March 31st 2025 (including
an extension by one year due to the pandemic). As I have assumed all responsibilites of Prof.
Merhof, the W1 contract has been paused until the succession of Prof. Merhof is officially
clarified.
