Learning with RTG 2620 InnoRetVision –
Training Modules and Elements
General
The growing number of degenerative diseases in motor and sensory systems leads to an increasing need to support or bypass these systems by technical “intelligent” bio-interfaces. For this highly interdisciplinary approach, specialists are needed in science and industry that bridge the different disciplines of biology, medicine, and engineering. InnoRetVision aims at educating excellent scientists by providing theoretical background, practical instruction, and personalized mentoring. The PIs involved in the RTG ensure a combination of expertise that cannot be found in traditional training programs focusing on neuroscience or engineering.
Training in InnoRetVision rests on four pillars:
- Basic Training
- Advanced Training
- Specialized Courses
- Lab Rotations
