Dr Holger Jahr becomes the new Chairman of the Collaborations Council on the ORS Executive Board

Dr. Holger Jahr is honoured to announce his election as Chair of the Collaborations Council on the Board of the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS), effective February 2025. As the Past-President of the European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS), he is eager to leverage his extensive international network to establish global partnerships that enhance musculoskeletal research and improve health outcomes worldwide. In collaboration with the ORS Collaborations Assessment Committee, Dr. Jahr will aim at creating a collaborative ecosystem that bridges geographical and disciplinary boundaries, connecting basic science with clinical applications to strengthen ORS' role as a central hub for musculoskeletal research, fostering outreach and mentorship through alliances like the International Combined Orthopaedic Research Societies (ICORS).
