The Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology of the Uniklinik RWTH Aachen is proud to receive the second ICORS Travel Grant winner in just four years. This makes the Institute, Director: Univ.-Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Thomas Pufe, the most popular host in the history of ICORS. Priv.-Doz. Dr. rer. nat. Jahr’s group earlier received Dr. Yusuke Kubo from Japan in 2018. The Grant (€ 2,000) is sponsored by the European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) in order to foster active orthopaedic research exchange between scientists from outside Europe and an European host.
The applicant must be an EORS member, and the host Institute must have officially recognized active member(s) of the EORS, too. The application procedure can be found here. Becoming an EORS member to qualify for this Grant or other attractive young investigator or annual meeting awards is easy. In 2021 and 2022, it is exceptionally possible to become EORS member prior to official approval through registering contact details and payment of the fee. Established EORS members are encouraged to renew their membership prior to ICORS 2022 here, too.
