GSG-MPN Studygroup
In 2015, the two German study groups for myeloproliferative neoplasms merged - the MPN initiative of the Study Alliance Leukemia (SAL) and the MPN study group (MPN-SG) to form the "German Study Group for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (GSG-MPN)".
The GSG-MPN includes numerous university clinics, academic hospitals and several large hematological / oncological practices.
The basis of the study group is a joint register with an attached biomaterial bank, in which all BCR-ABL1-negative MPN patients can be included at any time of the disease and regardless of the therapy status, according to the definition criteria of the WHO.
