Tasks
Uniquely, the co-location of patient care, research and teaching in a single building offers the best environment for intensive interdisciplinary exchange and close clinical and scientific networking.
The Digital Mental Health working group within the Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics is seeking to expand it's team and is investigating the possibilities of intensifying the use of digital applications with the aim of improving clinical patient care in psychiatry and promoting mental health in general.
The ‘FRIEND’ project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), is being implemented in the context of the objectives described above. The project is being carried out in cooperation with our partners from industry and aims to create new possibilities for the prevention, individual support and restoration of mental health by linking innovative artificial intelligence and voice control technologies with psychiatric expertise.
Profile
- Completed PhD in Neuroscience/ Medical Engineering/ Psychology/ Medicine or a related discipline, ideally with experience in Digital (Mental) Health and Human-Machine Interaction
- A highly motivated and qualified researcher who is interested in the field of mental health
- Programming skills (e.g. Python/R/Matlab) and experience with machine learning approaches would be a great advantage
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work independently
