Aachener Klinikhilfe (AKH) - Green Ladies and Gentlemen

The Aachener Klinikhilfe (AKH), better known as the “Green Ladies and Gentlemen”, consists of a group of socially committed people who provide voluntary bedside service.

Our tasks

  • We have time for conversations.
  • We accompany inpatients on walks.
  • We do the shopping within the hospital.
  • We provide patients with reading material from our library.
  • On request, we can put patients in touch with counseling services or chaplains.
